About Me
I am a KiwiSaver and Investment Adviser at DUX Financial, helping everyday Kiwis make confident decisions about their money and turn ideas/goals into real outcomes.
My path into financial advice wasn’t a traditional one. I originally worked as an electrician, where I was first introduced to investing and the idea of financial independence. As I learned more, I realised how powerful the right knowledge can be, and how many people never get access to it. That sparked a desire to deepen my understanding and use it to help others.
I went on to complete a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Financial Planning and Advice, and since have spent a few years working in the finance industry. What drives me is seeing people make progress, whether that’s building confidence with money, getting ahead faster than they thought possible, or realising that their goals are closer than they once believed.
I’m on a clear mission: to help as many Kiwis as possible achieve their financial goals — with a personal goal of helping 100 people retire before the traditional retirement age.
What I Enjoy Most About My Role
What I enjoy most about being an adviser is working with people at all stages of their financial journey. I love helping clients understand where they are today, where they want to go, and how the right KiwiSaver and investment strategies can help bridge that gap.
My approach is practical, energetic, and education-focused. I don’t just want clients to be set up optimally from a financial point of view — I want them to understand why that approach is right for them, so they can feel confident in the decisions they’re making.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, I’m extremely active and competitive by nature. You’ll usually find me at the gym or on the squash court most days of the week. A fun fact that says a lot about how I approach both life and money: I was awarded Most Improved Squash Player in Wellington for 2025 — something I’m proud of because it reflects consistency, discipline, and a focus on long-term improvement.
That same mindset carries through to how I think about investing and financial progress: steady effort, smart decisions, and a commitment to getting better over time.
