Tharindu “Thari” Bakmeedeniya

I’ve always enjoyed working with people and helping them make sense of things that can feel complex or overwhelming. Throughout my career, I explored different roles to understand where my strengths truly sat, and it quickly became clear that building relationships, listening, and helping people feel confident in their decisions was what I enjoyed most.

I realised early on that most people are never taught how money really works, despite how central it is to everyday life. Many people feel unsure about their finances not because they’re doing anything wrong, but because no one has ever taken the time to explain things clearly. That insight led me to become a financial adviser. I completed my Certificate in Financial Advice to turn that passion into something practical and meaningful, with a simple goal: to provide clear, straightforward advice that actually makes sense for each person’s situation.

After navigating major career changes and becoming a father, my focus sharpened around values, independence, and doing work that genuinely helps people. I take a people-first approach to financial advice, looking beyond numbers and products to understand what matters most to you and your family. Whether you’re seeking clarity around your finances, lending, or your next step, my aim is to support you with advice you can trust and feel confident acting on.

At the end of the day, I am here to help you make the right decision.
